Havana, Cuba. – Representatives of the Cuban civil society will leave this Thursday to Bolivia to honor Ernesto Guevara de la Serna.

The second Secretary of the Young Communist League of Cuba, Ronald Hidalgo, announced they are fifteen Cubans who will join the ten thousand members of social movements of the world who will pay tribute to Che Guevara in La Higuera, a small town located south of Vallegrande province.

Activities enhancing the figure of the heroic guerrilla and recognizing the validity of his thought will be carried out in that Bolivian zone until next October 9.

A member of the group of Cubans who will honor Che is Jorge Gonzalez, doctor in Legal Medicine who led the search and identification of the remains of Ernesto Guevara de la Serna and his fellow fighters in Bolivia.
