OTTAWA, Canada.- The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, develops an intense schedule in Canada, as part of a visit that seeks to increase links between the two countries.

Malmierca will participate in several activities in Ottawa and then travel to the city of Montreal, where he’ll make a presentation on the potential to expand commercial relations between Cuba and the province of Quebec.

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment met yesterday with the Ministers of Infrastructure, Francois-Philippe Champagne; of Inter-governmental affairs, Dominic LeBlanc, and of International Development, Marie-Claude Bibeau.

Malmierca also spoke with Geoff Regan, president of the House of Commons of the Canadian Parliament, and with representatives of the Canadian Export Development agency.
