Russia and Cuba for Greater Cooperation

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez signed a joint declaration, in which they unanimously condemn the ever-increasing use of unilateral coercive measures in the planet, which are contrary to international law.

Both nations reject, particularly, the use of such measures to change legitimate Governments, even through economic strangulation or destabilization of the domestic situation, the declaration denounces.

Cuba condemns in that text the use by the United States and other NATO member countries of unlawful unfair coercive measures, and illegal sanctions against Russia.

Putin and Diaz-Canel condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever its motives, the official text states. Russia and Cuba express their rejection of Washington’s use of Monroe Doctrine.
