BRIDGETOWN, Barbados.- Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez spoke this Monday with the Governor-General of Barbados, Sandra Mason, in the context of his official visit to that Caribbean nation.

I had a cordial exchange with the Governor-General of Barbados, Her Excellency Sandra Mason. We highlight the ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation that unite our countries, Rodriguez wrote on his Twitter account.

Previously, the Cuban Chancellor visited the monument to the Barbados Martyrs, in honor of the victims of the attack on a Cuban commercial plane.

At the Barbados Martyrs Monument, in front of the waters in which Flight 455 of Cubana de Aviacion fell in 1976 I pay tribute to the victims of that terrorist act in which 73 innocents lost their lives; barbarism and injustice still hurt, Bruno Rodriguez wrote.
