PDVSA workers march to repudiate US sanctions.

CARACAS. Venezuela.- Workers of the state-owned petroleum company of Venezuela, PDVSA, walked down some of the main streets of downtown Caracas, to repudiate the recent sanctions of the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the entity.

During the mobilization, Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo rejected that the national right offers the natural wealth of the nation to Washington.

The United States claims we continue to send oil, then pay and leave the resources imprisoned in an account, the president of PDVSA stated in response to the blockade of seven billions dollars in assets, owned by the Venezuelan representation.

The recent sanctions, announced on Monday by U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, state that the company will not be allowed to send money to the Executive headed by Nicolas Maduro.
