The Caribbean can always count on Cuba.

HAVANA, Cuba. – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, reiterated this Tuesday that the Caribbean nations would always be able to count on the support and goodwill of his country.

Our relationships are based on deep ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation and in the recognition that we share common challenges that we can face only united, the Minister wrote the headline in his Twitter account.

Rodriguez began this Tuesday a tour of several Caribbean nations that will end on June18, and he will head the Cuban delegation to the Sixth  Ministerial Meeting of the Caribbean Community to be held next Friday in Guyana.

The head of the Cuban diplomacy will also pay official visits to Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia and Barbados, on a tour conducive to reaffirming Cuba’s historic relations with the countries of the area, and discussing issues of common interest.
