Belgrade, Serbia.- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed today his satisfaction as, thanks to an invitation of President Raúl Castro, he will soon visit Cuba.

When receiving today the ambassador of Havana in Serbia, Mayra Ruiz García, in a farewell ceremony due to the end of her mission here, the official remarked that he hopes to have the opportunity to tour the port of Mariel, which he described as one of the largest economic projects of the History of Cuba, indicated an official note.

The good political relations between the two countries, he said, should be the basis for the development of economic cooperation, starting from the existing possibilities in the agricultural sphere, as well as in medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.

Vucic thanked the ambassador for the good collaboration and for everything accomplished during her tenure to strengthen the ties between the two countries, as a result of her diplomatic experience and commitment.

Ruiz García told him that his visit to Cuba will give a significant boost to Cuban-Serbian relations, both through political dialogue and with the expansion of economic cooperation
