HAVANA, Cuba.-The first Trade Convention, will be the occasion to dialogue and exchange on the role of the sector in the economic development of the nation, Odalys Escadell, first Vice Minister of Domestic Trade said in this capital.

At a press conference, Escadell reported that from May 15 to 19 more than 500 representatives from Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, Bolivia, Peru, Panama, and Cuba will attend to the meeting at the Convention Palace in Havana.

The first Vice Minister of Domestic Trade added the first Trade Convention will also be a space to see the Cuban internal commerce from the academy, and collaboration agreements will be signed with the Ministries of Education and Higher Education.

The meeting also includes a colloquium on the new management model in the area, with the exposition of practical experiences and the theme of wholesale trade, its challenges and perspectives.
