MANAGUA, Nicaragua.- The first Deputy Minister of Culture of Cuba, Maria Elena Salgado, will visit Nicaragua this Wednesday, where she will hold a broad work agenda in order to strengthen the bilateral ties in the sector.

According to the program, which will be extended to next Sunday, Salgado will meet with local authorities and tour sites of interest, while signing a cultural agreement between the two countries.

The first Deputy Minister of Culture of Cuba will attend the inauguration of the Goodwill Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival and the opening of a new edition of 2018 Nicaragua Designs.

Maria Elena Salgado will visit the cities of Granada and Masaya, and meet with authorities from both localities, in order to strengthen the political and social links between Cuba and Nicaragua.
