MIAMI, USA.- Andres Gomez, a Cuban journalist living in Miami, announced that a day of repudiation to the United States blockade against Cuba will soon be held in this city.

Gomez, coordinator of the Antonio Maceo Brigade (integrated to the Marti Alliance Coalition), said at a press conference that that day they will demand the reopening of the U.S. Consulate in Havana.

At the meeting, he read a statement by the Marti Alliance, dated last December, in which the organizations of the Cuban emigration composing it join the Cuban people´s rejoice for the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

The text adds says that with the wise direction of Fidel and Raul, and now with the new generations of revolutionaries at the head of the State and Government, the construction of this great work has been and will continue to be hard work and incalculable commitment and sacrifice.
