Lausanne, Switzerland.- Cuba”s baseball team was included today in Group C with the teams of South Korea, Australia and Canada to participate in the Premier 12 Baseball Tournament to be held next November.

After the draw for the qualifying round the other selections were placed as follows: Group B is formed by Japan, Venezuela, China-Taipei and Puerto Rico.

Also in Group A, the national teams of Mexico, the Netherlands, the Dominican Republic and the United States, the current champion of the fourth edition of the World Baseball Classic, will comprise the group.

The ceremony was also the venue for the selection of the different stadiums to play the tournament. It was chosen as follows: Group A will play at the Charros de Jalisco home stadium in that Mexican state.

Group B B will be based at the Taichung Intercontinental Stadium in Chinese Taipei, and Group C will play in South Korea, the winning team of the first edition of Premier 12.

The two best teams of each group will go forward to the Super Round, scheduled to be organized in Japan, where the finals will be played.
