SEOUL, South Korea.- South Korea proposed to celebrate next January 15 a bilateral meeting of work to concretize the attendance of the athletes of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The new meeting would also take place in the border village of Panmunjom and Seoul will send a representation of three officials led by the Vice Minister of Unification, Chun Hae-Sung, an official statement indicated

In the new talks, the parties must coordinate the travel route, lodging and other logistical aspects of the Pyongyang delegation during the Winter Games, which are expected to have between 400 and 500 members.

If all turns out well, the two Koreas will meet on January 20 with the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, to adjust the final details of the Korean participation in the upcoming February sporting event.
