HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuba will deepen its economic relations with Iran and Algeria, major commercial actors in Africa and Asia with the holding of intergovernmental commissions with high-level representatives of these two nations during January.

Through his account in Twitter, Rodrigo Malmierca, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, reported that Havana will host the session of the Cuba-Iran Intergovernmental Commission on January 15 and 16, and it is anticipated the participation of the Iranian Minister of Health.

The collaboration between the island and the Persian country covers the sectors of health, education, sport, renewable energy, technological exchange, and investment.

This month, it will also be developed the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation between Cuba and Algeria, based in Algiers, an occasion which after Malmierca will continue to strengthen relations.
