NEW YORK, USA.- As part of his bilateral agenda at the United Nations, the Chancellor of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, met with his Andorran counterparts, Maria Ubach Font; from Togo, Robert Dussey; and from Senegal, Amadou Ba.

The Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister also held a dialogue with the Vatican’s Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro, and the European Union’s special envoy for Venezuela, Enrique Iglesias.

Regarding to Venezuela, Cuba has made clear its position of condemnation against unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States on that South American nation, for defending its sovereignty and right to self-determination.

Cuba also opposes the activation of the Inter-American Treaty on Reciprocal Assistance, which the Cuban chancellor called a mechanism of domination associated with the use of force.
