HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and the Ambassador of Japan on the island, Kasuhiro Fujimura, ratified in this city the will of both countries to strengthen their ties.

During the meeting that took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rodriguez and Fujimura also spoke about the state of the bilateral links, which this year will arrive at its anniversary 90.

In addition, the Cuban Chancellor received Her Excellency June Soomer, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States, who is in Cuba invited to the International Tourism Fair.

During the cordial meeting, Rodriguez ratified the commitment of his country to the Caribbean and the Association of Caribbean States in particular, and he highlighted the importance of advancing the implementation of the agreements adopted at the Eighth Summit of the Association.
