HAVANA, Cuba.- Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, sent a congratulation message on the occasion of the day dedicated to the Cuban press, which is of extraordinary value to strengthen links between parliamentarians and the people.

Lazo described as essential the work of the media during the two stages of the general elections, and underlined that only through the journalists, orientations and training can be multiplied.

On the occasion of the Cuban Press Day, the Union of Journalists of Cuba recognized the communicative work of the National Assembly of People´s Power and its close relationship with the media.

In the exchange with representatives of the supreme body of State power, journalists highlighted the good practices of Parliament to approach the population through various routes.
