HAVANA, Cuba.-The First Lady of the Republic of Panama, Lorena Castillo de Varela, gave a new donation from the Panamanian people to the victims of devastating hurricane Irma.

The third consignments from the friend nation, consisting of five containers, arrived to the Container Terminal of the Mariel Special Zone of Development in Artemisa province.

The donation contains food, personal hygiene products, clothing, cleaning equipment and other items of imperative need, donated by different social sectors integrating the Panama Cooperates movement.

When formalizing the solidarity delivery, Lorena Castillo de Varela said it is very important that we know that in difficult times we are for each other, that we are not alone, that every day the ties of brotherhood and solidarity uniting the Latin American peoples are tightened.
