Havana, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel restated on Thursday the importance of control mechanisms in housing policy in the island, where the State redoubles efforts to solve this sensitive problem.

Diaz-Canel during his governmental visit to the eastern province of Granma underscored that an adequate follow-up to the subsidies granted to people to build their house is vital.

He pointed out that sensitivity, concern, systematization, control and personalized attention are essential in each case in order to fulfill the concept of social justice with the most needy.

The Head of State tweeted that he also participated in an encounter to analyze the situation of producing construction materials.
