Earhquake in Mexico.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico.-The death toll because of the magnitude 8.2 earthquake that shook southern Mexico last Thursday, amounted to 98, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said.

In a public event held in the central state of Mexico, Pena Nieto stated that so far 98 people have died, but many others have lost their heritage and their homes.

The Mexican President updated the balance sheet during an event where he called for the solidarity of the great Mexican family with the populations affected by the earthquake, especially Chiapas and Oaxaca, the two hardest hit areas.

Chiapas and Oaxaca will be standing very soon, Pena Nieto affirmed and called on the business sector to lend a supportive hand to this work.
