CARACAS, Venezuela.-The Government of Venezuela will meet next Monday and Tuesday with the new governors for the design of a national plan for the development of the country, President Nicolas Maduro said.

The program will cover ten strategic areas and envisages the approval of resources for social projects, Maduro announced this Thursday in the act of swearing of Rodolfo Marcos as new governor of Aragua State.

According to the head of State, the initiative responds to the commitment of the Bolivarian Executive to serve the people and to promote the economic and social development of Aragua State.

On the other hand, he reiterated that democracy expressed through voting is the only way Venezuela has for the gestation of sovereignty and democracy; and he warned that the governor who is not subordinate to the National Constituent Assembly will not be able to take office.
