The European Union is ready to begin this week the negotiations on the UK exit from the bloc, the so-called Brexit, Alexander Winterstein said this Monday.
The spokesperson highlighted it is the turn of Prime Minister Theresa May’s government to take the next step forward and decide once when she is willing to sit with the leaders of the regional bloc to seal the segregation, agreed by popular referendum in June 2016.
On the other hand, the European Commission envisaged beginning the negotiations on next June 19, to which Theresa May never refused at the outset.
Despite community optimism, the main representatives of the European Union believe it is too early to agree definitively the beginning of the bilateral dialogue in the coming days, although the organization is ready.
