LA PAZ, Bolivia. – Bolivian President Evo Morales said this Tuesday his country will guarantee a good welcome to the participants in the 2018 Cochabamba South American Games, after a tour by the sites where several of the sports facilities are built.

Morales emphasized the event will have a closed Coliseum for tennis competitions, the first in the Andean-Amazonian nation in tropical Cochabamba, sub-headquarters of the competition.

The Bolivian President visited several places in Villa Tunari, accompanied by the secretary general of the South American Sports Organization, Mario Cilenti, who congratulated the Bolivian state and the government of Cochabamba for the organization of the event.

The Secretary of Finance and Administration of that department, Camilo Torres, reported that Bolivia dedicated more than nine million dollars to the sporting scenarios of the upcoming South American Games.
