Bolivian President Evo Morales.LA PAZ, Bolivia. – Bolivian President Evo Morales inaugurated this Thursday an educational unit in the Tarija Department as part of the government’s program to promote education at all levels.

During the ceremony, Morales ratified the National Executive’s commitment to the development of education in Bolivia as vital to the future of the country.

After an investment of more than one million dollars, the new educational unit constitutes an extension of the Victor Zeballo School and has twelve classrooms, a sports field, kitchen-dining room and workshops, among other areas.

“After nationalization, reality in Bolivia has changed,” Evo Morales said in highlighting the social and economic conquests after the process made a decade ago. In that sense, he referred to the economic development achieved by the country due to the sovereignty over its resources.
