HAVANA, Cuba.- In a ceremony held at the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), its president Fernando Gonzalez called to join the campaign of signatures “Hands off Venezuela”, and ratified the conviction to vote YES for the Constitution on February 24.

We denounce to the world the coup d’état orchestrated by the Empire and some nations submissive to it against the Bolivarian people, and we express our most resounding support to Maduro, constitutional President of the sister nation, Gonzalez asserted.

Vivian Alvarado Linares, Venezuelan Chargé d’affaires in Havana, thanked Cuba for its support in defending the Bolivarian people and said that today as never before, solidarity is more necessary to her country.

Workers, officials and friends from several nations signed their unconditional support to Venezuelans.
