Havana International Fair Returns to Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba.- Despite the situation in Cuba because of the upsurge of the blockade, from November 4 to 8 next it will be held at EXPOCUBA, the thirty-seventh Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2019.

At a press conference, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, reported today that the event will have the participation of more than 50 countries, which demonstrates the confidence of foreign entrepreneurs in the Cuban market.

The Minister emphasized that within FIHAV 2019, dedicated this time to the 500 years of Havana, it will be developed the Business Forum space in which the new Portfolio of Opportunities will be presented.

Rodrigo Malmierca added that the launching of the Single Window and the 2020-2021 Cuban Commercial Directory will also take place.

Space for Business

With a wide participation of Cuban companies from all over the country the thirty-seventh Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2019.will take place from November 4 to 8 at EXPOCUBA.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Orlando Hernandez, at a press conference reported that 122 exhibitors representing nearly 360 companies of the island will occupy the Central Pavilion.

Hernandez highlighted that FIHAV 2019 will have a presence of all sectors of society and for the first time two Non-Agricultural Cooperatives will participate promoting their products to the international market.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce said that even as the blockade becomes crueler the Chamber of Business will receive delegations from more than 40 countries, which will attend about seven Business Forums.
