Diaz-Canel greets Cuban doctors´ arrival from Bolivia
HAVANA, Cuba.- President Miguel Diaz-Canel greeted from his Twitter account a group of Cuban health collaborators who returned from Bolivia, following the coup d’état and threats against the island’s doctors.

Welcome to the homeland, dear compatriots of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Bolivia, the Cuban President wrote in that social network.

Diaz-Canel added: You honor your profession and extoll human solidarity, referring to the group of 207 health specialists who arrived in the early hours of this Monday at Jose Marti International Airport

With this second flight, 431 Cuban collaborators returned from Bolivia, where the medical brigade, in more than a decade of work, performed more than one million 500 thousand surgical interventions and made more than 73 million medical consultations.
