HAVANA, Cuba.- With the presence of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez the Iniciativa Cuba Business Forum began at the Hotel Nacional, in which British investors and representatives of entities of the island participate.

Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, and Rodrigo Malmierca, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, attended the inauguration of the meeting, as well as Lord David Triesman, co-chair of the Initiative Cuba Group.

In his speech, Triesman condemned America’s economic, trade and financial blockade against Cuba, which he considered an offense and a humiliation.

According a statement from the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, the visiting delegation will have a two-day dialogue with Cuban ministers and entrepreneurs from several sectors.
