
Valdes Mesa begins visit to Ethiopia.
HAVANA, Cuba. – The First Vice-President of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, initiated this Wednesday an official visit to Ethiopia, heading a delegation that tours several African countries, the Cuban Ambassador in that country, Vilma Thomas said.
The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Teresita Gonzalez, and the adviser of the Armed Forces Minister, Brigadier General Arnaldo Tamayo, also integrate the Cuban representation that will meet with important government authorities.
The Cuban First Vice-President and his delegation will also meet with Cuban collaborators in Ethiopia and members of solidarity groups, graduates in Cuba, Cuban residents and member of the State mission.
Valdes Mesa and the delegation concluded a work tour that included the attendance at Cyril Ramaphosa’s inauguration ceremony as President of South Africa, and the journey to the Kingdom of Eswatini.
