KINGSTOWN, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, met with the Prime Minister of the island, Ralph Gonsalves, as part of a tour carried out by Caribbean countries.

During the meeting, the representatives of both nations assessed mechanisms to sharpen bonds of cooperation and brotherhood, Arreaza said in their Twitter account.

The Venezuelan chancellor, who also exchanged with the Premier of St. Lucia, is on official tour of the Caribbean countries, with the aim of revising the cooperation mechanisms of several fields of common interest.

In the area of regional diplomacy, Venezuela is a promoter of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, CELAC, and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America, ALBA.
