Moscow, Russia.- Russian readers should read about the life of Fidel Castro, a legendary figure of our times, the head of the editorial department at the Russian Federal Agency for Press and Mass Media (Rospechat), Yuri Pulia, said today.
Fidel Castro is a legendary figure, which Russian readers should learn about and the best way to do so is through writer, Katiuska Blanco, Pulia told Prensa Latina, alluding the launch of the book here ‘Fidel Castro Ruz, Guerrillero del Tiempo’ (Fidel Castro Ruz, Timeless Guerrilla Fighter).
The work being launched at the 29th International Book Fair on Wednesday, September 7th, is a two-volume book written by Katiuska Blanco, as part of the celebrations for the 90th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
It has already been translated into other languages and sold in several countries.
The 4th Congress of translators of literary works will be held during the Moscow fair.
The work done by participants in the development of the Russian version of the book written by the Cuban journalist will be also highlighted.
About 500 Russian publishing houses and 37 nations are participating in the fair, while Greece will be the guest of honor at the event. The fair will be held from September 6th to 11th.
