The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, and the second Secretary of the Central Committee, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, presided over the final session of the National Meeting of Provincial and Municipal secretaries of the Party that met for three days at Nico Lopez Superior School of the Party.
