Cuban Government Evaluates National Covid-19 Prevention and Control Plan
As every afternoon since the direct fight against Covid-19 began in Cuba, the President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, led on Wednesday through videoconference the meeting of the temporary working group for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus, of which 814 cases have already been confirmed on the island, of them 774 Cubans.

New First Secretaries of the Party in Holguin and Havana
At the request of the Political Bureau, the plenary of the Provincial Party Committee in Holguín agreed to release Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar from the position of First Secretary, and instead elected Ernesto Santiesteban Velazquez, who has served as a professional member of the Executive Bureau in this Committee for seven years.
