Cuba and Africa: Strong Bonds of Brotherhood
The President of the Pan-African Parliament, Roger Nkodo Dang, gave a keynote speech on the work of that African Union body and its main challenges.
The Vice-President of the National Assembly of the People’s Power and the Council of State, Ana Maria Mari Machado, and the First Vice-President of the National Assembly of Burkina Faso, Benewende Stanislav Sankara, agreed on the importance of strengthening relations between the two regulatory bodies.
The Vice-President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Ana Maria Mari Machado, and Giorgos Loukaides, member of the Political Bureau of the Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus, and head of the parliamentary group of this political formation, ratified the good state of bilateral relations.
Cuba and Vietnam are made of the same lineage, with courageous people, who resist, and with leaders like Fidel and Ho Chi Minh, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly of People´s Power, said in receiving at the Capitol of Havana the Vice-President of the National Assembly of that country, Uong Chu Luu.
The President of the National Assembly of People´s Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, received Syrian Ambassador Idris Maya at the Capitol of Havana.
With the presence of Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly, this Tuesday concluded the national meeting of heads of Attention to the Population of the Provincial Assemblies and Isle of Youth Special Municipality.
