They rejects U.S. blockade to Cuba

UNITED NATIONS, New York.- On the first day of the presentation of the draft resolution on the need to end the blockade of the United States before the United Nations General Assembly, representatives of several global organizations expressed their rejection of the genocidal policy.

Tunisia, on behalf of the African Group, highlighted that the nations of that bloc are rooted in solidarity with the island and called for the elimination of all such unilateral coercive measures.

The Non-Aligned Movement also pointed out that U.S. economic policies against Cuba violate the founding principles of the United Nations and prevent the island from relating in a normal environment with the rest of the countries.

Cuba has the support of many peoples, the United States remains lonely in the blockade, and the Non-Aligned pointed out.
