HAVANA, Cuba.- The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, received at Jose Marti International Airport the President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, on his return from Mexico on Thursday night.

The Cuban President completed an official visit to the Mexican United States, where he was received with honors at the National Palace by his counterpart Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

Both Presidents held a private meeting, which also included Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla and Cuban Ambassador Pedro Nunez Mosquera, and an enlarged meeting between the two heads of State took place at the evening session.

The Mexican Undersecretary of State for Latin America and the Caribbean conferred the visit of President Diaz-Canel an emblematic importance, which reinforces a historic brotherhood.
