HAVANA, Cuba.- The first International High School Workshop inaugurated this Tuesday in Havana, is dedicated to Fidel Castro for his ideas and actions in favor of inclusive education, which make Cuba to excel in teaching-learning quality.

Zoe La Red, national director of High School in the Ministry of Education, remarked Fidel´s efforts for the integral formation of teenagers, a key stage to create awareness in tune with the identity values of the nation.

La Red said that prior to the first International High School Workshop, territorial meetings were held in which teachers exposed and reflected on information and communication technologies.

She emphasized on respect for cultural diversity, the need to combine efforts for sustainable development, and to transmit reference for life.
