HAVANA, Cuba. – The first Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, received at Jose Marti International Airport the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, who returned to the country after an official visit to Venezuela.

The Cuban President visited the Mountain Barracks, where the remains of Commander Hugo Chavez rest. He also placed a floral offering in the National Pantheon, where Simon Bolivar´s remains rest and shared with Cuban doctors in an integral health center.

Diaz-Canel also held an official meeting with the Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, who gave him the Liberators Order in his first class.
