HAVANA, Cuba. – The participants in the sixth National Assembly of the Association of Social Communicators claimed for taking debate to the whole society, taking into account this is a key link for communicators in their contribution to the updating of the economic model.

Other approaches exposed local initiatives in the different territories, as a strategic objective present in the Guidelines of the Social and Economic Policy, although it has not sufficiently advanced throughout the country.

The sixth National Assembly of the Association of Social Communicators also expressed the need to expand campaigns n issues as migration, birth control, and the fight against drug use, among others.

About 300 delegates and a representation of foreign representatives attend the meeting of communicators.
