Havana, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel affirmed that the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against the country generates hardships and punishes the families of the Caribbean island.

In his social account Twitter @DiazCanelB, the head of state said that this hostile attitude is the essential and defining element of relations between Havana and Washington.

The Cuban leader described as cruel that White House policy against the Caribbean nation, which also alters the constitutional order.

In a previous message, Diaz-Canel stressed that the aggressive application of the blockade violates the sovereignty and interests of all countries.
