SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba. – The favorable performance of industrial efficiency in Sancti Spiritus´ sugar mills has not only assured this province the best integral performance at the country level in this sugar harvest, but to add, until today, more than 3800 tons for this concept.

Those results were noted by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, who during a tour of Uruguay sugar mill, one of the largest producers in the country, urged, to raise milling, currently under-planned, with a view to the territory being able to finish the harvest at the expected time.

To conclude the harvest in the second half of April, as the authorities of the sector estimate, will allow sugar workers of Sancti Spiritus to support with men and equipment the harvest in other provinces more backward.
