Holguín, Cuba.-The Eastern city of Holguin will host the first edition of 2017 Expoambiente on May 25 and 26, a space to exchange experiences on the protection of the environment in the territory.

Specialist Norkys Ochoa said the program of the meeting includes topics such as community and environmental management of Pinares de Mayari and the confrontation of climate change from the knowledge of its effects.

During 2017 Expoambiente there will be symposiums dedicated to discuss positive experiences and good practices in social and economic development, taking into account the care of Nature.

Ochoa remarked Expoambiente also includes collateral activities such as the exhibition and sale of ornamental plants, as well as the presentation of posters and books on environmental subjects.
