HAVANA, Cuba.- The Second Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, received this Wednesday Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and President of the Central Theoretical Council of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The also rector of the Ho Chi Minh Political Academy pays an official visit to Cuba, accompanied by a wide delegation, to participate in the Fourth Theoretical-Practical Seminar between the communist parties of Cuba and Vietnam.

Machado Ventura also received Enrique Fernando Santiago Romero, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Spain, who pays an official visit to Cuba accompanied by International Secretary Jose Manuel Pineda.

In the meeting, both leaders highlighted the historical relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties.
