Caravan of Freedom, Fidel’s entrance to Havana.

HAVANA, Cuba. – Deepening everything concerning the Cuban revolutionary process, its history, achievements and projections, is among the objectives of the Second International Symposium titled The Cuban Revolution: Genesis and Historical Development.

The event will be held until next Thursday in Havana, and in the words of the President of the Cuban History Institute, Rene Gonzalez Barrios, it is of paramount importance, since this transformer process covers fifty nine years.

Gonzalez Barrios told Radio Reloj that among the topics of analysis are the thought and work of Fidel, the Cuban Missile Crisis, Cuba-the United States relations, Cuban political and economic system: its improvement, and the validity of Che´s thought.
