HOLGUIN, Cuba.-The 12th edition of the Ibero-American Congress of Thought, the main space of the Festival of Ibero-American Culture, began in Holguin and will end next October 30.

Barbara Martinez, coordinator of the event, mentioned as an essential premise to propitiate a meeting space between novice and consecrated researchers of Cuba and abroad for the exchange of experiences according to evaluate from culture the development of society at the national and international levels.

Martinez said that among the activities to be developed this Wednesday there is a lecture titled Economy of Culture in Cuba, by Master in Science Tania Garcia Lorenzo.

The Ibero-American Congress of Thought also constitutes a conducive environment to the delivery of the Jose Manuel Guarch Delmonte National Research Prize.
