HAVANA, Cuba. – The House of the Americas made public in Havana its rejection to the criminal actions that local reactionary forces led by the American imperialism and its accomplices commit against the legitimate Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In its statement, the prestigious cultural institution recognizes how much the revolutionary process initiated by unforgettable Hugo Chavez has benefited his people and has extended his influence beyond its borders.

The House of the Americas denounces that today Venezuela is harassed by the pack, as were Arbenz´s Guatemala, Allende´s Chile and of course Cuba, which has suffered and defeated countless misdeeds of the empire and continues to be subjected to a monstrous blockade.

The cause of the Bolivarian and Chavista Venezuela is that of all the men and women in the world, including the United States that aspire to a better world, the text of the House of the Americas underlines.
