Blockade.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The permanent working commissions of the National Assembly of People’s Power, from today until next October 24, have public hearings to denounce the damages caused by the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States Government to Cuba.

According to the Social Communication Area of the Parliament, the meetings will be in Havana, Mayabeque, Camaguey, Pinar del Río and Artemisa provinces.

Eight public assemblies are planned in the universities of Artemisa Camaguey and Mayabeque, as well as in the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba, and a Popular Council in Pinar del Rio, among other places.

The first of these meetings, organized by the Committee on Health and Sport of the National Assembly, will be today at the Manuel Fajardo Hospital in Havana.
