HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, received this Monday in the Palace of the Revolution the President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse, who pays an official visit to Cuba.
Previously, the Haitian President paid tribute to Cuban national hero Jose Marti, toured the Memorial bearing his name, and knew details of the life and work of the Apostle of Cuban independence.
Moïse announced last August his intention to travel to Cuba, and highlighted that the Cuban cooperation, if not the best, is one of the best. He added Cuba has helped Haiti in all sectors.
In addition to medicine, Havana and Port-au-Prince develop bilateral programs in areas such as agriculture, fishing, education, hydraulic resources, construction, and meteorology.
