Diaz-Canel Pays a Government Visit to Camaguey.

CAMAGUEY, Cuba. – The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, began this afternoon a government visit to the province of Camagüey, which will cover a tour of economic and social facilities.

In Florida municipality, to the west of that city, the Cuban President visited Lope Recio Loynaz High School, which has a registration of more than 500 students.

Florida, whose economy is based mainly on agriculture, livestock and sugar industry, also has the largest repair shop of railways of the sugar branch in the territory, and various food production.

It also has a small fishing port, in the community of Playa Florida, whose fleet is dedicated to the fishing of flake species, shrimp capture and oyster harvesting.
