In addition to confirming the study of the proposed draft Constitution, which was enriched with the opinions of the people, the head of Cuban diplomacy praised the participation of Cubans living abroad in the debate.

‘Studying draft Constitution. Unprecedented, patriotic and substantial participation of Cubans living abroad. More than 2,000 proposed amendments from 58 countries. Many deserve that the @AsambleaCuba accepts them,’ he wrote.

In another twit, Rodriguez highlighted Cuba’s results at the international level, the overwhelming rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba on November 1 at the United Nations General Assembly.

He also underlined the world’s recognition of the election of Miguel Diaz-Canel as the Cuban president, and the recent visits by the Cuban head of State to countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia.

‘Tremendous 2018 for foreign policy in #Cuba. Ten UN votes in one hour against the blockade isolate #US. Universal recognition at the President’s choice @DiazCanelB and very successful visits to Venezuela, CARICOM, Russia, DPRK, China, Vietnam, Laos, Paris and London,’ the Cuban foreign minister said on his Twitter account.
