Havana, Cuba.- The recent meeting of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, with the diplomatic corps accredited on the island, is highlighted on Monday on social media as part of the commitment of the Caribbean nation to multilateralism.

According to the information offered by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez,in Twitter, the meeting was attended by 117 ambassadors and business managers, along with six representatives of international organizations.

Several images of the meeting, held on Friday at the Palace of the Revolution, in Havana, were posted on the social media.It is an annual event and first of its kind since the president took office.

Tourist Facilities in Havana Working after Tornado Crossing
Havana, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) All the tourist facilities in Havana are operating because they have not been affected (after the passage of the tornado), reported Monday the Cuban Minister of the industry, Manuel Marrero.

We have made a tour after the meteorological event which occurred in Havana last night. All the tourist facilities are functioning, as they have not been affected. #CubaDestinationSafe #TourismoConCalidad, said Marrero in Twitter.

At least three people died and more than 170 were injured as a result of the effects of a tornado which hit areas of Havana on Sunday night.
